The parent company started in South Florida in the 1970′s, and has branched out into many security systems, fire detection systems, and other areas.

Fifteen years ago we recognized the need for valid and effective perimeter security. The concept of keeping intruders and trespassers off your property was born.

Conventional security systems only give warning after the intruder is in your house or building.

We learned that walls and fences of any height are ineffective.

Barbed wire and razor wire are only slightly more effective.

We saw – repeatedly – that electric fences are extremely, totally effective – intrusions don’t just decrease, intrusions become ZERO.

Electric fences have been around for a hundred years and are known to be safe for humans, children, pets and livestock.

The downside is that electric fences are easy to defeat – to short, ground, cut, or otherwise disable.

Thus, the need for an electric fence monitor and alarm system, combined with specialized installation techniques.

Fence Guardian has developed these specialized installation techniques in actual perimeter security applications.
