How to Replace an Electric Guard Dog Security System

Upgrade to Fence Guardian and Save Money

If you’ve been paying Electric Guard Dog (EGD) or someone else for an electric fence perimeter security system for the past three years or more, it’s a simple calculation to discover the huge amount you will continue to pay them.

We have a replacement and upgrade path that will save you a lot of money.

Typically, after the initial three-year contract they put you on a month-to-month payment plan. That amount is usually the same as you’ve been paying, although lately they’ve been raising their rates by as much as 20%, even to long-time customers.

When you cancel your contract with Electric Guard Dog they eventually remove their electronics – the fence energizer, sensor and alarm control panel. They have to leave the posts and wiring in place. Legally they can’t remove the posts and wiring because they’ve become permanent fixtures and are your property. We recommend you verify this with your attorney for your State, but every opinion we’ve received so far agrees with this.

The usual scenario is this: You contact us, complain about paying Electric Guard Dog $650 a month for the past four years, and how you just had your monthly payments raised to $725.

We come in and replaces your existing EGD electronics, sirens, strobes, alarm control panel and central station monitoring, fix any trouble areas, certify the entire fence for voltage and security, and when we’re done your monthly bill will be 25% to 50% less than you’re paying now.

You then go to a new, lower-priced monitoring and maintenance contract, with a locked-in price for up to five years.

Call us and we’ll be glad to talk to you about the process, and hold your hand every step of the way.
